By now you may have a solution. However, I just experienced this on my boss computer and I "zapped the p-ram" and it fixed! You restart the computer and before it goes blank you hold down these keys: option, command, R, and P. Hold them down all at the same time. Your computer will restart basically three times with that big gong music thing and then you can let go of the keys and let it boot back up.
