Woke late, catching up with things. Superglue held on washing machine knob so able to do some half drying. Coffee and bagel time!

Thursday 29 July 2010

Pissed this morning. Need to get out of this country before the ComDems take us too far back to the 80s and 90s.
Cuts, cuts cuts and the banks go on to make profits with our money. Shameful distortion of responsibility for the national debt. :-(
Tories now allowing public to veto council tax rises. No doubt they will be the first to winge when there's no salt on the road come winter.
What's the bleeding point in light fluffy bread? One application of knife with spread and you go right through!
Jay Wynne playing the blues with the weather with hawkshow. Pure 6music joy :-)
Cool new bbc radio3 World Music site http://tinyurl.com/2fwalyy Fantastic archive of old programmes. Love the Andy Kershaw in N. Korea!
Does chips with salad constitute a balanced meal?

It's never acceptable to use 'road map' in a convesation so stop doing it. Up there with 'on the radar' and 'take it off line'. Grrrrr

Saturday 24 July 2010

The Albert Hall packed for the Shostakovitch symphony! And rightly so. This is my my favourite piece and fantastic it is too!

Hell am I supposed to save for a new bike when I'm paying more to '3'? Pah! Might as well stay where I am and buy a new handset!
Their best deal was more expensive that I'm paying presently! No way telephone dude! Go back and try again!
Have decided to turn down '3's latest offers on an upgrade. Retention offers not equal to offers for new users on minutes and data. :-(
The flowery goodness of Badger's Golden Glory Ale going down very well on this light and warm evening. :-)
Oh well! At least's there's the excellent freakzone on 6music or Verdi's Simon Boccanegra at the proms on radio3. Spoilt for alternate!
Stephen Fry and Bombay Bicycle Club at the iTunes Festival today but no stream!!??? Why not apple? Gits! Was waiting to see all week!
Down to less than 6GB on iPod Classic. Damn these finite hard drive sizes!

Saturday 17 July 2010

5 hours of Wagner tonight on the proms. Damn we are blessed!
It was, after all, banks who caused the debt through intervention and banks who topped us into recession by refusing to lend.
Cannot understand why money for debt cannot be taken from bank profits rather than making those who work hard to get by even even poorer.
The Tories are ideologically committed to cuts for cuts sake. BBC licence fee and pensioners bus tickets have nothing to do with UK debt.
Tories hate the BBC because they can't make money from it. Cutting the BBC budget is nothing but spite dressed up as cost saving.

Friday 16 July 2010

Concert at the proms this evening is bloody fantastic. Let's hope the condemnation doesn't find a way to cut this too!

Thursday 15 July 2010

Ooooo...#proms 2010 starts tonight. Brilliant!

Tuesday 13 July 2010

Saturday 10 July 2010

Good morning Twitterverse :-)
Lovely bright evening. Sitting on the doorstep with cold beer and iPad enjoying the light :-)
You can't beat a decent unfiltered German WeissBier! :-) Lovey!

Just installed StreamToMe and can now play Flash movies on the ipad when they're on the Mac's HD. Nice :-) Take that Mr. Jobs!
Putting off reading my book about not procrastinating. A quiet victory and resistance against change?

reading a 1967 copy of Sputnik magazine. Fascinating insight to a lost time...
Don't want to go home. Feeling blue....
relaxed and content in the early evening sunshine. Depressed about lack of bike though.
You don't get that downloading your files to a computer. Photos should be physical and shared. Smiles come free!
Watching someone smile when looking through their photos from Boots. Priceless! :-)

Fixed the power problem on the phone. Woo Hoo! Didn't want to get another or take another contract until I'm sure about my jobs future.
Hmm...Three are 'upgrading' my unlimited Internet allowence to 1GB a month. Did I misunderstand the meaning of the word 'unlimited'?

Thursday 1 July 2010

Aaarrgghhhh! Power adapter snapped inside phone! Fate telling me to buy another? Wanted to wait! Not fair!
New Opera! It's still leaps and bounds above the other browsers. Good work Norweigen web dudes!
